[taken from the Springwood High School Courier blog] The Ward girl hasn’t left her house since playing that game. Soon after moving into their new Fairfield house, she and her sister discovered a hidden room behind their bedroom closet. There was nothing in there but an old rag with some scribbling on it. Her sister is in the same grade as my cousin and he saw it. Supposedly it’s a map to a strange dimension. She followed the directions with her older sister who then disappeared. People say she was driven mad by what the girls conjured and her parents locked her away upstate at Saarne. Others believe that something came through a door the girls opened and in order for it to stay, someone had to go to the other side. Denise Ward hasn’t spoken a single word since that night. She just stands in that bedroom window looking out with a blank stare. Some say she’s just waiting for her sister to return. Others believe that whatever came through the door the girls opened that night possessed her. Now let’s find out if anything they say is true.
The ritual has to be done at midnight. All you need to do is:
Find a completely dark room with a mirror
Place 4 lit candles in each corner of the room (some sprinkle incense on the candles but I don’t think you have to)
Say “Somebody Say Something” and blow out a candle
Take a picture of the mirror
Say “Somebody Say Something” and blow out the second candle (I saw on REDDIT that you have to blow them out in the order you lit them. Some guy in my Brit Lit class heard that you can blow the candles out in any order as long as you don’t go to the left/counterclockwise.)
Take a picture of the mirror
Say “Somebody Say Something” and blow out the third candle
Take a picture of the mirror
Say “Somebody Say Something” and blow out the last candle
In complete darkness, take a picture of the mirror
When you look at the last pic, you see something from the other side entering our dimension. My cousin told me he saw the older Ward sister screaming from inside the mirror. He said it was almost like she was under a frozen lake.
